AUG msg from Mr Chiang

Dear All

Would like to keep you informed that as per last year, the combined Uni soccer Team will be working closely with Jollilads Arsenal FC and we will be participating in the Div 2 League.

Players interested in participating in AUG08 (Asean Uni Games, Dec 08 in KL) are strongly encouraged to join the combined team as we will be using Div 2 league as our main selection and preparation to AUG08.

Below are the time line:

1) Selections: to be done before CNY, probably on 2 & 3, 9 & 10 Feb 08 - will confirm by the end of the week.
2) Registration of players: by 13 Feb 08
3) Trainings: Probably once on weekday and once on weekend
4) League should start sometime in March 08, and follow by the Singapore Cup.

Div 2 League only allows Singaporeans. PR also cannot :-(. Non Singaporeans (but of Asean origin) interested to participate in AUG should join the selection/training. There will still be many friendlies you could be involved leading up to AUG.
