Jollilads Arsenal Recruitment Drive

Happy new year to all!

Jollilads Arsenal, for those not in the know, are an NFL (National Football League, sanctioned by FAS) Division 2 team made up of student players from the 4 Universities. This is a project put together primarily by Mr Chiang (NTU) and Coach Arasu to develop footballing talents in University players, in particular to prepare for the ASEAN University Games (which will be held in Chiangmai 2010 next).

Jolilads plays from March to about July/Aug approximately once a week against other NFL teams in Div 2. The club may also be entered for the FA Cup which starts midway through the season. The team trains once to twice a week in season.

How does this concern all of you?

(1) If you were a Jolilads player/ part of AUG 2008, please state if you are interested to continue playing this year

(2) If you have never played for either but wish to be considered for the team, state your name and playing position and I will submit your names for consideration. The first round of trials will be held at NTU on 7 Feb 3pm.

*Please also note that only Singaporeans are eligible to play in the NFL.
