TeamNUS Sports Awards Ceremony 2009

Hi Guys

Every year, SRC recognizes the contribution of its sportsmen/ women with an awards ceremony to celebrate teams/ individuals that performed well in the past year.

As some of you may already know, the Soccer Team won the Team of the Year Award for clinching the S R Nathan Cup during the last academic year. Several individuals in the team have also won individual prizes for: Rookie of the Year (Anand), Merit Award (Fabian), Honorary Award (all retiring/ soon to be retiring seniors) etc.

This is the first time that the Soccer Team has been bestowed with a team award, and so it would be great to have the entire current squad down to cheer on the team, and also share and appreciate the efforts of our fellow NUS sports teams.

For all award recipients, your attendance will be collated by SRC directly (refer to the official invitation letters you have received).

For all non-award recipients, we will assume your attendance. If you are unable to make it down, please state your reasons by next Friday 25 September 1159pm. Do make the effort to support the team of 2009, appreciate the recognition NUS gives its athletes, check out hot girls and eat free food.

teamNUS Sports Awards Ceremony 2009

It is time again to celebrate our achievements for the past year! We have witnessed many glorious moments when you and your team mates have brought much pride and honour to the University. In recognition of these achievements, we will be presenting awards to these outstanding athletes. Please refer to the following website for the list of these award recipients: www.nus.edu.sg/osa/sports.

During this teamNUS Sports Awards Ceremony, we hope to relive and share those moments with all of you. This is a big night for teamNUS and it is my pleasure to invite you and your team mates to join us for the celebrations which will be held at University Cultural Centre (UCC), on Saturday, 24 Oct 09. The Guest-of-Honour is our Deputy President (Academic Affairs) & Provost, Professor Tan Eng Chye.

Other details are as follows:

Time: Please be seated by 4.45pm sharp (Cocktail reception starts at 3.00pm).
Dress Code: Formal (Shirt & Tie for Men)

All are invited to a buffet dinner reception after the ceremony at the UCC Foyer.

Do highlight to your Sports Officer if you or your team mates require excuse letters to attend this ceremony.
