Breakfast for Champions


Wanna be a two timer two time IVP winner like Rafi? Try this for starters -

Exercise regime dictated by coach:

2 sets of workouts per week of:

Set A

(1) 5 easy rounds, stretching
(2) 800m x 5 (3.30 min), rest interval 2 to 2.30 min

Set B

(1) Easy 2 rounds + 8 rounds normal speed
(2) 300m x 6 (55 - 62 sec), rest interval 75 sec
(3) Easy 3 rounds

It's intimidating, but it's doable. You can do it alone or with friends. With Vincent (if you're Nigel), or with random cross country girls (if you're CW). In school or at a place near home.

I understand that some of you may be unable to commit the time/ energy, given you don't want to tire yourself out for studying. In which case I would recommend cutting down marginally, and only where necessary. But please do make the effort to keep fit. IVP is in Jan. Bangkok is in Dec. Now is late Nov. Every effort counts.
