NUS were swept 4-1 by a robust, energetic and motivated NYP team, thus ending the season with a heavy loss in the semifinals.
With a record number of supporters on the NUS stands for an IVP game (previous record stood at 4 individuals), NUS started out with a shock lead from a counter attack.
This moved the NYP team to action, and they equalized after a series of errors by the NUS defence.
In the second half, an inspired display of finishing from NYP Captain Hafiz saw last years' runners up smash 3 more into the NUS goal.
With the season drawn to a close, I hope the team will grow from this experience, and translate this year's loss into a hunger for success in seasons to come.
Heads up boys! Let's play some cage/ court soccer sometime soon!

Cheer up guys - making it to the semi finals is still a really good display.
Wish I could have been there now that there was a record number of supporters:-)
