Dear NUS soccer guys,
It's been almost 2 years since I have retired from IVP football and I fondly remember all the overseas trips we had. It's rare you have 30+ guys you know living in the same hotel, trying constantly to poke fun at each other (lining up fire extinguishers outside pple's room etc). I'm sure you guys will enjoy the time together.
You will be playing against quality opponents, who might be older and less fit than yourselves, and perhaps technically more sound. It's your challenge to outsmart these guys, not with physical abilitiy, but with your brain. Afterall, I believe football player are one the smartest people because you have to make split-second decisions, taking into account so many factors that register subconsciously inside you.
All in all, go ahead and express yourself. Play football the NUS way and I'm sure you will be fine! Will be supporting you guys during IVP so see you then!
Rgds
